Montirius, Vacqueyras “Le Clos” 2016 – 75cl

An excellent, highly rewarding, biodynamic Southern Rhone. Aromas of lifted, perfumed blackcurrant and kirsch notes with touches of liquorice, vanilla and wild garrigue. The palate is rounded, smooth and silky with good concentration and juiciness to the fruit, a touch of savouriness, and balanced with fine, delicate tannins. A very well made and rather refined wine from the great 2016 vintage.
